yikes. rats.
I was in Saigon pre-baby. I think you'll find most places don't have rats. or maybe I just didn't notice (I mentioned pre-baby...). I'm so happy you are making this journey - I will live vicariously for the next while. We just got back from a month in Mexico with our toddler. Hopefully, in two years we will be able to do a long haul! Happy travels.

Thanks for the photos.

they make me a little home sick.

The Melbourne sky line has changed already in the 18 months I've been in Calgary. The Brighton beach huts and interesting comments about Williamstown bring back similar memories and experiences in strange restraunts in Williamstown.

I remember with many find memories driving the Great Ocean Road and stopping regularly to enjoy the views.

Next is entering the province/State of South Australia and some of the best red wine country in the world. Unfortunatly its not a secret and thus the wines are not cheap. But I'm sure Grant will enjoy them all the same.

I hope you got to watch the Aussie Rules Grand Final last Sat. West Coast Eagles beat the Sydney Swans 85 v 84. It was a great game and I lost my voice screeming at the TV screen at the Unicorn pub in Calgary. But we won so all is excellent.

Vianne and I are looking forward to enjoying Thanksgiving this weekend. And Halloween is a month away. Neither of which you'll celebrate in Aust.

I'm sure the weather is going to start to warm up for you as you start to head North and summer starts to roll in, your the furtherest South you can be in main land Aust and its a little notorious for being windy down on that coast.

Safe travels all.

What you're describing is called an adventure. Take it all in, in small bites. One step at a time. It sounds like your having a real good time. Thanks for this blog. Take care and have fun!
